Pirelli tyres...ask mamma. She had those on the four corners of her Camry when she almost crashed two weeks ago: fast degradation and lack of grip=tyre blow up.

I would ask Bernie to put explosives on the wheels to manage better the race results.

Senna only 1.1 seconds off Heidfelds headline grabbing pace yesterday despite Bruno not running on soft tyres or low fuel! Destroyed Petrov times. Makes sense to get rid of the slow Russki and they might- just- be able to do a Brawn GP?

not sure what to say about senna's time. i mean, he was better than petrov but then again, he was only two-tenths of a second ahead of kovalainen in the team lotus.

still, 1.1 seconds off heidfeld kind of says why renault decided to test out nick rather than their reserve drivers. good decision made there methinks.

Trying to compare times on tewodifferent days is tricky. Looking at people who ran both days, Alonso was about half a second slower today, and Kobayashi was about half a second quicker. Given that both Senna and Heidfeld would have been trying to put in at least one quick lap, I think that the gap of 1.1 seconds is enough to say that it can't all be down to changes in track temperature, moisture on the track, etc and Heidfeld has shown that he really is quicker than Senna.

Ber, was it raining today in Jerez? When I said "differences due to moisture on the track" I meant that there is always a bit of overnight moisture or variation in track temperatures or something which makes it hard to compare one day to another, but if today had been generally slower today than yesterday then we'd expect al of today's times to be down. In fact, Rubens got the best time of all four days today which suggests there was nothing at all wrong with the track.
