Lotus Renault GP has confirmed that Nick Heidfeld will stand in for the injured Robert Kubica in F1 2011 until the Pole is fit enough to return - and the German admits he is 'extremely motivated and can't wait for the season to begin'

Senna's chance will come, after this season I see 2-3 "top" drivers who have been around a while being kicked out. He might be in a good drive in 2012, that is if the world doesn't end :)

IF... (and that's a big if and the moment)... that Renault is relatively as quick as it has been in some of the early testing, this is by far Heidfeld's best chance to be champion.

What a turnaround that would be in fortunes - something no doubt the press would love as much as the 'underdog' result of Button/Brawn 2 years ago.

At the least, he could stake a claim for a Merc seat should Schumacher call it a day and there is no other decent alternatives available (i.e. they can't land Vettel or some other driver).

I'm sure 'KWIK NIK'will keep up ,but will he spruce up ? He looks like Justin Biebers' 'Bush Wacker' long lost uncle and hardly will he enhance the great looks of the Lotus mark. You gotta look good to do good...
