Yay ... BE managed to solve the 1000 year war in 24 hours. I guess that going on with the event will send a great message to the rest of the world. "Screw the poor" "Shoot the oppressed demonstrators" but hey we the elite will watch a car race ... and i'll take all of your money !!! Thank you !!!

As I said in a previous post - If they do actually race there, I'll be boycotting the TV coverage. For F1 to try to go ahead with a race in a country where the government shoots at peaceful protesters is a disgrace.
I love F1, I always have done, but I love freedom more. Good luck to the revolutionaries in Bahrain.

Sheik "Bernie, here's another 10 million quid"

Bernie " Fair enough mate do whatever the f*** you want, just don't let one of the drivers get hurt in the crossfire...or it will cost you another 10 million"

It is not that easy mates.
Old Bernie signed the contract too. I bet it says that if Bernie cancels the race, he would have to pay the Sheik two or three truckloads of pounds sterling, which he is not willing to do.
Hence, Bernie is going to do whatever it takes to carry on with the race at BOOOOREIN...
