Well Mr. Gallagher you can bet the Crown Prince
is working over time getting his troops into position. Then the word 'its safe', guys come on
down. We all can trust the Prince, after all we know he is an honorable man. Permission given, F1, will steal the people's money, take the cash, and make a run for the border. Fact, F1 circus will do any thing for money..anything!

I can't believe that Bernie E has passed the buck to Bahrain's leader. Surely his response is predictable? Bernie must do the honourable thing and cancel the race. If the race is held with a huge TV audience and other worldwide coverage what a wonderful opportunity for protestors to run on to the track during the race. Remember the defrocked priest at Silverstone a few years ago?
F1 has had more than enough scandals in recent years, it doesn't need another one.

@jose says "F1, will steal the people's money, take the cash, and make a run for the border. Fact, F1 circus will do any thing for money..anything!" If F1 is such a terrible sport why do you watch , or better yet why do you post on this board.

@ joeh,
Truthfully I have not held a job for over 17 years,
and yes at times I have worked for next to nothing.
I did sometime back really enjoyed F1, actually I'm
quite close to F1 I think you would be quite surprised just how close. Now having said that in last few days I'm still nagged by a standard simplistic fact..
How dose one defend the undefinable, a simple question, one that F1 will have to answer, soon.

Renault driving booths, how do you think they would look on the gulf course, the red ones w/white laces?
The cost matters little, I must have a pair..

Keep politics out of F1 as religon should be out of politics..however we all know that ain't gonna happen! In any even Mr. G is off base on his logistics. The move from Spain or any other Western European country to Bahrain can be doen in a day...in ten days you could almost do it on a bicycle...sooo actually the decision could happen a bit later than Tuesday and still all could happen, however given the increase of intensity...it doesn't look too good from where I sit..

It is easy to make this venue safe. No spectators come anyway ... so make it a TV only event , no spectators allowed and surround the circuit with tanks and the army. Fly the crews/drivers/VIP's etc into the circuit directly by helicopter. The question is really whether we should be racing in places where the people do not want us and the above is necessary. I say NOT , stick to first world countries where the people have a passion for F1. Even if Bernie makes a little less money.
