F1 » Williams expecting a good year

Sam Michael: All the testing that we have been doing shows we can have a very competitive car in the FW33 and as long as we develop it quickly, which is what we are doing, I think we can have a good year.

I do hope they have a good season - they really deserve some good luck as well with there new compact gearbox that's hopefully going to give them an advantage .

williams deserve an upturn, but their driver line-up might not be the best, to give them a good result. barro is dependable (generally) and maldonado is an unknown quantity. but if they do show flashes of brilliance, they should look to improving the line-up for 2012. good luck to them.

Hopefully if RB got to have some input in the design of the car, I'm hoping that he'll have a good season. I would love to see Williams have some of the glory days return to them. A race win would be a great boost for the team, but I think realist they will be fighting the mid-field again with an occasional sniff at the podium. I do believe that Williams will be fighting Renault, and Merc for best of mid-field honors.

IMHO, Williams will get 1-2 podiums this year and hopefully finish 5th in the constructors.

Since BMW left them Williams have been on a downward spiral, every year they say and think they're getting better but every year they get worse, don't expect too much from them it'll be a miracle if Williams don't end up with the likes of Tyrell, Prost, and Jordan etc

SK: "Funny enough I see the new Williams livery and I want to go smoke a Rothmans..."

Funnily enough, when I see the new Lotus Renault livery I want to smoke a kipper.
