F1 » Ferrari changes name of F1 2011 car again

“The name will now read as the Ferrari 150° Italia, which should make it clear even to the thickest of people that the name of the car is a tribute to the anniversary of the unification of our country” – 'The Horse Whisperer'.

rob, who?? ford??. they were appalled that anyone would think that their pickup could be confused as a ferrari! oh the ignomy!

anyway, i would imagine that all f1 fans will continue to call it the f150, possibly with a little bit of glee!
wait till it wins, and then we will see ford trying to pick up some sales "by association".

So how much stuff can Alonso haul in the back of his Ferrari pick up truck? I am thick and confused? Anywho, I hope this truck doesn't win any F1 races this year!

Richard, come on. Why do you think Ferrari reacted so fast to their mistake? They fell over themselves correcting the error. Why do you think its ok that Ferrari are only the only team allowed to run a predominately RED car in F1??? Do they own the color red? Try not to be so biased.

rob. so i guess that ford cannot sell any red f150's??? i have no bias of any sort, just think that ford were totally stupid to get worked up over this.
ferrari use red as it is the italian national racing colour, and other cars cannot copy it due to fi requirements. if you remember, alfa also ran red cars, and there was no fuss.

Me again

on this whole ferrari being the only team allowed to run a prodominantly red car - didnt williams run an all red car in 1998 (winfield sponsorship) with little or no kick back about it?
