F1 » McLaren 'have a fundamental issue', car is 'a mess'

BBC F1's triumvirate of Martin Brundle, David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan have painted a bleak picture indeed for the prospects of McLaren-Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button heading into the forthcoming 2011 campaign...

Is not a new that McLaren is in trouble.I understood it after the past testings in Barcelona. Now I want to understand which car is faster Red Bull or Ferrari? It seems that Red Bull goes better but last year too in most races during Friday testings Red Bull looked uncatcheable and in the race Ferrari challenged them, like the german GP where Ferrari was the class of the field.Or in Italy where Ferrari didn't revealed their true pace until saturday official qualifying with Alonso on pole and Massa third.I think that Ferrari and McLaren will develop their cars faster than Red Bull during the season, especially McLaren. So Red Bull will face toucher opposition this year. And I wouldn't be surprised if Red Bull doesn't win the championship this year and be beaten by Ferrari.

Shrieker - Massa was very much into contention and he could have been a WDC in 2008 if his engine did not expired with 3 laps to go in Hungry (he was in the lead), and in Singapore his was in the lead until the pit crew left the refueller in the car. I'm not going to get into the rain in Brazil and what would have happened if it came 1 minute later. That said, I don't understand what your argument really is... first you're saying that he was unlucky in 2010 not to win the WDC, but then you're saying that luck had nothing to do with his 2009 title. You can't have it both ways.

Arguement: McLaren sucks post Dennis.

Query: No they don't, they just missed it in 2010, even could've won with just a little bit more luck.

Unrelated response: They won lucky in 08.

End.

your mum. i take it that you have experience of both? funny how a number of drivers, including pdr have stated the similarity. have a look through old threads on this, and other sites. only SOME drivers have complained. maybe its the car they are driving that is at fault?

and what have fish to do with any of this??

Alonzo will burn more bridges this year and cheat some how to keep up with RBR. MCLaren will be fine with Button and Hamilton.
Here's to Felipe outpacing and outscoring his teammate.

If McLaren is lucky RBR and Ferrari will trade wins in the first part of the season. This will keep one team from openening a large gap early. After seeing FA come from so far back to be in contention up until the final race there is still the chance to make good on a poor start.

Maybe this website should be renamed "Slag.Net", considering that's what the comments usually end up doing. But then, it would probably get lumped in with a wholly different lot of sites on search engines!!!
