Glad Tonio's still around even if it may not be the best car on the grid - still reckon there's more to him than he's been able to show in F1. Shame Klien's not in the other car as think he should have been given a chance too....

Not the most exciting name out there perhaps but a good move for them. They need someone with experience if they are to have any hope at all of developing their car. TBH though at this point we cannot expect them to be anywhere other than at the very back, but if they manage to secure their finances and build up their infrastructure they could definitely improve during the season - and perhaps build a competitive chassis for next year.

I think this is a very good move from HRT. Yes, Klien might be better but they also need money and I'm sure thats where he came out ahead. But also I mean he is a good driver, not the most consistent but HRT need an experienced driver whos been with a bottom team before - Force India (2008,part 09) and Torro Rosso.

Poor decision from those at HRT, this guy wasn't competitive in a good Force India! Hoe is he going to compete in this junk? I will bet anyone £10 right now this guy causes more than one problem this season while being lapped. Money talks, unlucky Klien, feel for you.

are all the Liuzzi' haters having a meeting here?

He is not the best driver in the world, but he is fast.
Not sure Klien is better.

And why people thinks he has been choosen for his money? which money?

@df

He must have been chosen for his money, because he doesn't have any talent. For sure, if he was racing against me (an F1 fan, who's closest experience to racing was carting for fun) he'd look like Senna! But he's seriously slow. Don't tell me he has speed, when? I said on a comment a while ago, Sato would have brought more speed AND money. This guy is poor and has far too a high opinion of himself!

swoosh, i dont know what your beef is with tonio, but he is not slow. he and christian would be on a par with each other, as mid field runners, and tonio does have a successful past, as far as i am aware. probably a bad move to tie in with hrt, but maybe he feels that struggling with an uncompetitive car, will make others take notice??
