Come on Lewis, get a grip! you say the same thing every year...there is so much still to come from the car, and everyone is working flat out!! the fact of the matter is that the car is a MESS and McLaren will be playing catch up for the rest of the session, but lets not kid ourselves...Red Bull and Ferrari are not going to sit on there thumbs while you guys are trying to develop the car, they too will be moving forward with there cars, so stop trying to kid the fans it is going to be yet another case of trying to win a race if and when the compition has a mechanical problem like last year? supporting Webber is looking quite attractive rite now...

@ IanG

I don't think all of Hamiltons victories last year came because of mechanical failure from others. Remember Montreal? he got the pole and a fully justified win. Also deserved the win in Belgium, which also did not rely on others ahead having a DNF.

IanG - you seem to know it all about this subject perhaps you could shed more light on everything as you are clearly streets ahead of the rest of the motorsport world in your knowledge!!
Yes Mclaren are not topping the timesheets just yet but lets not forget they are always there or there abouts for the title at the end of the season. Lewis and Jenson were not exactly far off winning in 2010. we all know winning the WDC isnt just about raw speed so let do the sensible thing and wait until we actually know what we are talking about before making such harsh judgement shall we!

Not at all, but i do know this! McLaren never had the problems that we are having now when we did winter testing last year, and you never heared Lewis and Jenson both telling us that the car was not competitive then? I am a big McLaren fan and i hate to see us in the situation that we are in now, heading off to Australia not knowing if the car will finish the race or not!! I believe Hamilton is the best driver out there, if he had a red bull last year the sesson would have been over 4-5 races before the end. the fact of the matter is that the car was late being built and late with the start of testing and we are here now! it is not a case of being harsh but rather being honest the car is a MESS....

@IanG For someone who claims to be a McLaren supporter you sure come across like a real hater. Sounds like you would prefer the drivers to give up because the car is not yet fully competitive. "Come on Lewis Get a grip you say the same thing every year." Personally I think you should switch support to some other team.
With friends like these, Mclaren doesn't need enemies.

And give Lewis a break. Even his worst detractors (Alonso) admit he is the fastest out there. I dont believe you when you say "I believe Hamilton is the best drive out there."
