I live near Tokyo and although some distance away from Miyagi, the worst hit area, still shook pretty bad. Kamui's home city had too, suffered severe earth quake 16 yrs ago and I know how he feels about this disaster. I hope he will race well in Australia. NOTHING's going well in JPN at moment and we need something to cheer about.. Go Kamui!!

I lived for several years not far from Suzuka and am due to return in about 3 weeks from now. I fully agree with furionese's comments. I've just found out a good friend and her family who live in Sendai are OK. Considering how distracted I've been over the weekend with worry, I can only echo the praise from Sauber for Kamui. With the focus needed to drive an F1 car at the speed, he's done an incredible job to keep his focus with what's going on.

It's almost akin to Schumacher winning at Imola in 2003 after his mother died. These guys are superhuman and perform in ways we could only imagine. Japan needs some success after such a disaster.

thank you all for your support, im overwhelmed with warmth of ppl of the world.. Dee, hope youl have a good stay in jpn, its pretty chaotic here.

there are after quakes hourly, i no longer give a **** with EQ that less than M5.0 coz im used to it now.

my region go under whats called "voluntary planned power cut." we dont have power for 3 hrs daily.

food shortages. ppl are panicked for what forthcoming and are stocking all food they can buy. i could only buy left over snacks yesterday..

fuel shortages. many refineries blown up and now we have NOT ENOUGH FUEL..

im supposedly living in a developed country, and not in million yrs, did i ever expect to starve, give up on car, and shiver in cold in pitch black night with no power..

power returned so im writing this now. peace.
