They keep talking of the glory laps. Who knows what they did to get the needed result. They could have pressed the back wing button a number of times on their glory lap or used parts that could or would not be used for racing. I will consider them back on pace after the first race. Then all this double talk can be confirmed.

Re the use of the adjustable rear wing, its use is and will be the same for everybody.
If the FIA don't change it, the rear wing can be activated (used) at any time during practice and qualifying but can only be activated during the race when the driver is one second or less behind another car at specific points on the track.

Schumi is the calmest of them all,he is without doubt the best driver of all.No one can touch him on speed IF the car is right for him. There will be plenty of modifications throughout the season,Schumi can come from the back and get to the front in a car suited to him,so poll isn't everything. It is up to the driver to convert the pole position to a win, despite pitfalls along the way.

Ross knows how fast Schumi is,but we shall see as the season progresses.

Hey guys.Brawn didn't said that Mercedes is the fastest car on the grid, but only has made significant progress. They are slower than Red Bull and Ferrari,I believe, but their target is to match McLaren and Lotus-Renault at least in the early stages, because will be difficult to beat McLaren in the final standings. So keep pushing hard Ross.

they have to be the top mercedes powered team, hopefully we will get a chance to see schumacher and lewis hamilton fighting for the same stretch of road this year, and jenson can gain revenge for becoming translucent as schumi drove 'through' him at imola 05, it just may not be at the front of the field initially

Ha, obviously somebody gave them a tap on the shoulder for talking stuff like that even before the beginning of the second season of a 3 season deal!
some folks just cannot keep their mouth the way it should be. Perhaps, Ferrari might get tired of "promises" coming from Alonso without fulfilling them, and Schumacher might be back there in 2 years time... getting paid double...

You never know

There's no doubt that Mercedes are much faster after the bug upgrade because they was in trouble and now they look fast maybe even faster than Renault and Mclaren, I have this feeling that the main problem at Mercedes are the drivers, in my opinion Rosberg just isn't championship material, heck he still needs to prove he can win a race, now someone earlier said Schumacher was the best and fastest out there but they are mistaken a prime schuey with the current 1, sure it would of been possible for the old Schumacher to have won races or even sneaked the title in last years car but the current Schumacher also needs to prove he can still win, so saying all that mclaren will beat mercedes.

Personally I believe these guys are FAST!!!
Brawn talking about his nerves being a thing of the Past oozes confidence that the prep Job is done and done well. I also agree with Norbert .. others also wanted to post top times with exception to the Bulls.
I think they were holding back yet it doesn't mean they know where stand exactly either.
On the surface I think we have Bulls/Merc and Ferrari fighting for top stop! Best ballanced car (tire erosion) will take it and sadly (as I 'm for Merc) this is Newey's turf. Proof is in OZ javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':)')

Mum, you have stated this on other topics and I think I am starting to believe you. Lewis has worked directly with Merc and Ross is an excellent team principal not to mention loaded. MS is probably not going to sign up for additional years with Merc so why not grab one of the best on the grid to replace him. Personally for me, I think it was a huge mistake for MS to come back to F1.
