Whilst the talking continues lotus keeps its name in the press - no such thing as bad press they say. I wish they could just settle things then Fernandes could change to another historic marque (Tiger Racing have ERA) and when their 5 year plan comes to fruition and Lotus have lost the will (and money to continue in F1) we could cheer on an organisation that have gone about F1 entry in the most professional manner. As it stands Lotus seem to want a finger in every pie, they have a million and one new models and are looking down at their product that was the saviour of the company (elise) - they'll never compete (commercially) with the likes of Ferrari as they are currently aiming and especially while their F1 effort has LADA on the side!

Fernandes is spot on! I waited on anyone, Group Lotus included ressurecting Team Lotus for 15+ years! Fernandes comes along and re-ignites with passion Team Lotus, and now Proton now want to jump all over it. They can pay off as many people as they want, Team Lotus has never had anything to do with Group Lotus and lets hope it stays that way!

As much as I want to see Team Lotus succeed, reading him say "the good will always win" made me cringe a bit. Life isn't some cheesy movie with the happy endings scripted for you, get out there and fight for it. If the court ruling goes against you, no worries, it's just a name after all!!

Call the car what you like the name means little..
Color the car any color means nothing. F1 is about
money and winning, that simple..Team Lotus was yesterday..What counts today Tony is winning. Build a competitive car and a team that can score points.
When the flag drops the car that wins and score the point gets the recognition, that attracts the sponsors and then you get the money. Thinking the name Lotus, colors green and gold will automatically will place your team next to the best in F1..Nuts.. Tony you are going to need more that that..
Remember the golden rule..Greed killed the Golden Goose..
