F1 » Déjà vu for HRT

Tonio Liuzzi completed just a single lap of Albert Park after HRT suffered another tough day at the track on the debut of its new F111.

Hope they can get some running tomorrow. Every time Hispania have been scheduled to run in testing I've looked forward to seeing how their car does, and every time they've failed to get a lap in. As someone who always supports the underdog teams of F1 even my patience is starting to wear a little thin with them now.

I am a big fan of underdogs ... especially so in F1.

But they were talking so much about the car and so on and just don't deliver.

How in the world would have they been ready for Bahrain?????????

This is getting ridiculous and if they still don't come out tomorrow and drive like they said they would, I don't think even their biggest fans would feel pity. I mean if you've got problems, say it out loud instead of all this nonsense about being the quickest of the last three etc...

I really do feel sorry for the drivers though, having to put up an optimistic face through all this!

Hey...it runs...they did a lap!!!

Some speculation car did not have a drive train.

Oh hold on... hope they did not bodge in a motor and tranny from one of their golf carts..... :)

You gotta feel sorry for the drivers and the money sunk into this useless outfit.

last year they started in the same fashion, yet they did not had the worse results, virgin did and this with more money and more experienced drivers but i do feel sorry for all of the guys working there, and i am 100% sure that most of their problems are money related and yes as dj said virgin is out of 107% time if they keep same times so i'm guessing hrt will be out too. let's see, because if this will go on like this i thing we have a good chance this year to have only 20-22 cars on track almost every race, considering the pace red bull, ferrari, mclaren and even mercedes have shown, i am very curios about this season and i really hope hrt and virgin will be able to get on the right track

I'm certain that I saw Andy and Windy in the HRT pits directing work on the cars. Anderson was personally signing off on every screw insertion while Windsor regaled gullible motorsport scribes with visions of victory. Like Count Dracula, the USF1 persona just refuses to die.

I think this team is an embrassement to Formula 1

Shame about Luizzi, as he is a good driver, should have had Kubica's seat.

If non of the new teams have progress significatnly by mid season, dont let them in next year and lets Ferrari, Mclaren, Red Bull et al run a third car.
