Sebastian Vettel showed that he means business down under by blitzing the top ten shoot-out in qualifying for the Australian GP.

no points for quali, but the finger is back, mclaren . . . good job, imagine them launching the car with the 'red bull' exhaust layout, running the first tests then turning up to melbourne with some mileage under their belts . . .alonso will be racing mclaren tommorow, and at mercedes, it may be as simple asnico rosberg just being faster than michael schumacher

Am a Vettel fan but imo, the surprises to me were the Sauber's and Toro Rosso's... great step forward from last year. Congrats!
Would be great to see Kobi on the podium!

@ 2Pac. So far you have made the best and precise comment. Why so many people dislike Hamilton is a mystery to me ... I mean a lot of people HATE the guy. Yet he defies expectations each time. Everyone doubted Mclaren after testing and now look, 2nd and 4th ahead of the red cars. As for Schumi, someone needs to remind him that people will remember you most for your bad 2yrs than your 7 record crowns and record holding career. That's just human nature.

If Red Bull are going to cheat Webber out of being quick, they should at least do it by only a couple of tenths.

9 tenths is clearly more than a few driver mistakes.

@senna... many thanks

@langerzalonso... sorry but that is BULL. i've met Hamilton twice now both at charity functions where there wasn't any press and the guy was relaxed, friendly and had time for everyone who wanted to speak to him in the hour or so he was there.

obviously some need to create an excuse for their hatred, whatever the real reason behind it. such is the sad state of the world we live in today.
