well done kobayashi i must say that. massa again showing that he is somewhere else and definitely not in the car on a racing track, i think he was the driver with most mistakes during this weekend along with sutil and i just read that vettel and webber did not use kers in q3 which meas that red bull still has some surprises for us, and is clear that they were sandbagging big time all winter and they are doing it even now, as for hrt thats just sad

Rumour has it that...

Red Bull have a 7kg KERS system purely for use off the start line. The 13kg saved allows for ballast to be spread around the car giving better balance. The other reason for a basic KERS is that the Renault engine isn't getting much advantage from the KERS on straights (note the Renault getting very little performance increase from the opening Rear wing)

If that is correct, and the new Red Bull has this fab advantage due to weight distribution then thats genius from Mr Newey..

Apparently another team currently not using KERS is said to be working on a KERS device to work in the same way - logic would suggest Lotus as it is Renault powered.

What was that Ferrari fans? McLaren are slow? Not going to win anything this year? All gone quiet now haven't you?

Not at all surprised that vettle is on pole but the race should be interesting to say the least.

Narin was a huge 11 seconds slower than pole! HRT have no chance of qualifying this year!

Nick Heifeld! What are you playing at! Now 50 cent is going to say 'I told you so'!

That nothing has changed since last year. And what a sad performance from the RED team. They ran the most miles all pre season and claimed no issues. Sure the car will hold together when its slow.

Great quali. That said I have to say to my buddy Ronny McDoos - Slow Heidi did not get exposed LoL. That's where I want to leave it at. Also, I was criticised for saying that McLaren will be a regular podium contender and too many of fair weather McLaren fan boys wrote it off in a preseason testing...testing....testing...because couple of BBC guys said so.
