F1 » Vettel the Wizard of Oz as he ends Red Bull's jinx

It is as you were as F1 2011 revved into life today in Melbourne, with defending world champion Sebastian Vettel leaving his rivals fairly trailing as he dominated Down Under to banish Red Bull Racing's Australian Grand Prix jinx

Vettel,Hamilton and Alonso drove great races. If their teams managed to produce cars with similar pace to each other, this trio will give us spectacle during the seasons.Meanwhile their teammates can't challenge them.Hope that Ferrari will improve next race.Red Bull is the leader and McLaren seems to have a shining future during this season.

I have to admit i am no Seb fan but boy this guy is the real deal i think he is going to dominate the sport for the next 10 years,it would be a shame for us fans if he were to do that, but hey there is nothing we can do about it,how lucky are Germany in producing 2 such great racing talent's in Seb and Schumacher.

It can't be hard to neuter MW's car just enough so that he doesn't worry SV. They'll be tweaking the amount in the coming races, whilst claiming not to know what's up.

As for Vettel, he's proved again that if he isn't challenged, he's very fast. Probably treats each lap as a qualifying lap and so long as he keeps qualifying on pole and gets a good clean start, it will continue.

Heidfeld, Massa and to some extent Button were a disappointment today. What I learnt today was that the Pirelli's are going to have a great effect on races, KERS is like it was and DRS was for me a failure.

I think barrichellos move on britney was the funniest thing I've seen on an F1 track for ages, what an idiot but i'm not complaining as I don't particularly like britney

Nobody has mentioned the fantastic performance of Petrov, the man most people claimed doesn't deserve a ride in F1!

Congrats to Vettel (and Red Bull), Hamilton (and Mclaren) and most of all the unexpected Petrov (and Renault)!

Great start to the season, great to see 3 teams on the podium and especially good to see Alonso where he belongs... Behind Petrov.
