How the hell do you work that one out Smokesmate? Before they had the points removed they were 5th in the constructors championship, so by your reckoning then, Mercedes, Force India, Torro Rosso, Lotus, Virgin and HRT should all quit aswell? What a great championship that would be with only 8 cars on the grid.

Interesting. There are recent examples of cars having technical infringements which are merely ordered to be amended.

Massa in the Ferrari gained the most from Saubers DQ

Ferrari provide the engine for Sauber.

Sauber were to appeal. Now they won't.

Just observing.

Sorry, but I just do not get it.
Was was there to lose if the appeal is not accepted by FIA? Nothing whatsoever: Sauber would be exactly where they are now, stripped at the desk from the hard-earned points at the track.
Wonder what's under the decision to not appeal...
