I'm sorry Christian I think you're biased. Maybe top 5 circuit in my book. Spa, Suzuka, Nurburgring, Monaco would take president before I would consider Silverbore.

Bahrain is boring
Barcelona is boring
Hungry is coma inducing
Valencia is coma inducing

To name but a few...

At least it's not a tilk monstrosity and has great F1 heritage like other older circuits like Monza...been to them both for F1 races and both are great.

It's a cop out to say Valencia is dire, and has no overtaking. Last time I checked the GP2 race produced plenty of action at that venue so maybe it's more about the cars... True Tilke's tracks are generally very stop and go, but when asked about overtaking the drivers do say straights followed by a harpin can produce better racing. Going back to Silverborre and Monza last year IMO they were the most borring races.

25er. you have just been devalued. did you read the story? horner compared it to suzuka and spa as being one of the best. he didnt say it was the best.
what is interesting is the name given to one of the inclines, henman hill! i wonder who that is called after, and why?

I take most of the Tilke tracks over the Silverborre. Tilke understands racing, he has competed in touring cars and endurance car racing. That said, his tracks are limited by FIA rules that he needs to comply with. So, don't call them monstrocities since I take most of them over your beloved british gp. A track that looks like Spa or Suzuka is never going to happen because of the restrictions when it comes to desing not because of the designer.

Richey - if you consider top 5 the best, on my list it berly made the top 5, then okay it's one of the best...
