F1 » Alonso: 'Stronger' Ferrari fears no-one, can fight for crown

Well, last year started the same sort of way. Ferrari were a good way behind for the first half of the season. And then everyone laughed at Alonso when he said at Silverstone that they would win the championship, even though they were 47 points behind. He didn't win, but he did catch up, and lead the championship at the beginning of the last race.

I don't see why he and Ferrari can't do it again this year.

I am a really big fan of Fernando and he is my idol.Every day I think at least a moment about him and Formula 1.But I think that Ferrari isn't in better conditions than last year. The car seems slower that it was to Red Bull last year.McLaren has done a good job and have improved their car and is closer to Red Bull than it was last year after the few first races. But both Ferrari and Mclaren should be worried about the Red Bull reliability compared to last year and will be very difficult to beat them if they win all the first few races.Good luck to Alonso for this weekend because he will need a lot.

Forza...thats the spirit teamliness and rational comments. Why should he be wrong? Thats what the Tifosi want to hear!

Strange how comments related to Ferrari bring on rational stuff (with a little bitterness sometimes from the odd idiot), true legends. Thats what sport is about, while Felipe is looking stronger (than last year) too! It certainly wont be won in one race?

Irrespective of the pace of the Ferrari at this point in time, the attitude displayed by FA in this article is what every team and fan should want from their drivers.

The will to win, the never give up attitude and the character to bounce back from a bad Grad Prix is what separates the winners from the also rans.

Self belief is half of the battle won.
