i hope the cars do close up on each other. it's no good for anyone, except die-hard RedBull fans, if they dominate the season and run away with the championship.

for sure FP3 today indicated that the gap between RedBull and McLaren isn't the 8 tenths it has been in the past. i guess we will know for sure after quali.

I think this year mclaren are defo alot closer to redbull at this early stage than last year if they remain consistant with upgrades and lewis is level headed this with be title number 2 i hope lol

@Hamfan... give it time the usual suspects are probably still asleep!!!

Hamilton's comments appear to have been proved correct by todays quali display. McLaren are taking the fight to RedBull at a track that traditionally favors the Newey car.

looking forward to tomorrow, it could be a great race.
