Following their energetic scrap that ultimately ended in tears in today's Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang, both Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton have been handed down post-race penalties...

Scratching my head to see how either deserves a penalty really. Compared to the aggressive defensive moves Hamilton has pulled in the past, what he did with Alonso was rather tame. I didn't see him do anything wrong.

Same with Alonso - sure, he clipped him. But it wasn't an intentional thing. Given the fact that he came off worse was punishment enough for it.

I reckon both should feel really hard done by. Probably more so Hamilton because he lost a point because of it.

I agree there was no need for penalties. But the stewards are setting a precedent for future races in my opinion. My only wish is that the tires given to the teams be of better quality. Very artificial racing.

Bullsh*t.. I thought it was a simple racing incident.. That's what you get when two competitive driver racing for the best result..

This sport lately keep amazes me with stupid and unnecessary penalty.. LAME!

lulu fans worldwide are crying

i'll make it simple

start of lap 45

lulu moved left, then a little to the right then left again

thats 3 moves. drivers can only make 1 move

penalty is fair, deal with it

Rob,it does'nt matter who it is the result is always the same, penalise Lewis,From the moment he entered F1 they have never liked it,thats why i have always believed that the 2007 title was fixed for him to lose on purpose.
