F1 » Williams: We expect to, and must, perform much better

Rubens Barrichello: This wasn't the start of the season I was hoping for and we need to improve. Right now we don't have a reliable car and we are playing catch up, but the team back home are pushing hard to get things resolved.

And that's why you shouldn't boast about how small your package is and how tight your rear-end is. Everyone points at you and laughs.

Williams are rapidly turning into the 21st century Tyrell: Once great, now kind of sad. It's hard to believe that this mid-grid team was once so good that they made every body else look like they were racing F3000 cars (eg 1992/93).

What baffles me is that there is clearly something very wrong but there are never any significant changes made to the team. The attitude seems to be 'It'll come good in the end, give it more time'. The teams results went noticeably downhill when Sam Michael took over, and they have been on a steady decline since then. How much longer can Frank allow this situation to continue? Surly it's time to give Mr Michael his P45?

Its a real pity tat a team like williams is languishing in midfield for such a long time.....2 things which tey shuld do immdeiately 1) Partner-up with a good engine supplier (cosworth is too mediocre) 2) Bring some talented drivers in !!!
