I'm actually pleasantly surprised that it's Jenson who is making the challenge towards Vettel. Webber, Hamilton and even Alonso have been quiet. Their confidence seems a bit down while Jense seems to be ever optimistic. Webber, Hamilton and Alonso should all be championship contenders, but they've all made mistakes and in the case of Webber and Hamilton, they're having tyre troubles. I would not be suprised if Button begins to break away from the pack and take the fight to Sebastian. He's focused.

Both Vettel's wins this year, and all five of his wins last year, came from leading into the first corner. Out of those seven races, he started five from pole, and beat Webber and Hulkenberg respectively into turn one in the other two races.

My point is that Vettel is a gret driver, but his racecraft is still questionable. If he's not leading from the start he tends to make mistakes - the only way anyone will beat Vettel this year is by beating him to pole. That's his weak point!!

Just put www. in front of these sites.
Doesn't that give you the shivers!

By far much better sound than V10 engines!

I think if Jenson had 2 stints on the harder tyres he would've challenged Vettel. Hamilton had 2 stints on the hard tyres and destroyed them, Button's last stint on the hards was longer than anyone else, although it was at the end of the race.
Lewis has the better raw pace, but Button is always there.

I think that this year is going to be Jenson's best chance to win a second world title,if he does'nt do it this time i don't think that he will get another chance as good as this and he seem's to be using those Pirelli's better than anyone else at the moment.Good luck Jenson!

ben. there is very little passing in f1, and as the fastest person normally starts first, what do you want seb to do? deliberately qualify poorly, just to show that he can catch up?
but there will probably be some races where there is a problem in quali and you may get your wish. but, as you are aware, even if you are a fast driver in a fast car, you can still be blocked from passing. ask alonso,or button!

Richard Ben does have a valid point. Their is no doubting his pace however when the odds are against him he does push the bubble which does tend to end in tears. That was 2010. He is still to be tested in 2011 however it is comming.

It will be interesting to see if maturity has overcome exuberance in a short time

@newfifan I thin that this year is going to be Jenson's best chance to win a second world title.
duh what kind of planet we are living. Jenson was very lucky i Malaysia GP if is not team gave to Hamilton used prime tire and not pitted him an early and if Weber not have problem with a Kers i don't think he would be Second

I am not the biggest Vettel fan but why in the world does he need to pass anyone? When out front he doesn't put a tire wrong. The trick will be to out qualify him or use pit strategy to get in front of him. I am sure with the crap tire we will get a chance to see him pass people. Until then, out qualify him if you want a shot to see his passing skills.

Schumi,i am living on the same one as you are.So according to you then we may aswell just give the trophy right now to Seb and not bother with the rest of the remaining races. There is a long way to go yet.
