Ferrari is probably the greatest team in F1 but currently look afraid to bring in innovations. 2011's car is somehow conservative and obviously misses that winning sparkle.
Ok the wind tunnel, but sometimes you just need to use your eyes to notice that the car is unbalanced, starting from its too high nose which is working against top speed and front grip. Ferrari this year used Toyota's wind tunnel, so I'm afraid not all problems come from it, but actually also from the concept of the car in the first place.

Maybe they should swap wind tunnel time for CFD time with Virgin. And I thought Alonso developed the car? Come on Alonso fans. I have heard for years that FA is best developmental driver on the grid. So smart that 6/10ths was a gimmie. I even heard he developed the McL while there and gave setups and info to make Lewis look good. Whats going on over there?

The last time that Ferrari had a "wind-tunnel issue" was 2005, when Costa took over as head designer from Rory Byrne.

I wonder if they've still got Byrne's phone number.. he seemed to work pretty well with their wind-tunnel in the past!
