Toro Rosso fined after Jaime Alguersuari loses a wheel in Shanghai

I remember a marshal was killed after a wheel came off a car .I can't say if it was due to a pit error or a crash .But being hit by a wheel at speeds of anything up to 200mph is certain death. A stern penalty should always be given to reflect this .

Looks like people already forgotten how (Henry) Surtees was killed..

I think the FIA needs to send a sterner message across instead of just a fine...

@Elijah - it happened twice within a few months of each other (a 6 car crash at Monza 2000 and then another crash in Melbourne 2001) - in both incidents a wheel came off a car and killed a marshal. It's no surprise that the FIA want to stop things like this happening.

Shame for STR though, their two drivers were having a really good scrap with each other and holding up a train of cars behind them, who were getting more and more impatient trying to get past. Very entertaining to watch.
