F1 » Haug: Di Resta's start to F1 2011 'remarkable'

Norbert Haug: “I think it is exceptional and remarkable what Paul has done so far. To be in his third race and take eighth on that grid - that is very good, and very impressive, especially considering he did not get a lot of running in second practice.”

Most of us did know he was exceptional (i mean come on he did beat vettel earlier on) but i had no idea he would be this quick this early. Now for the most important part. Is he consistent/ does he crack under pressure?

Anybody that's observed this guy from F3 will know he is the real deal. Haug summed him up nicely, he's very very quick and he never crashes cars. I'll also share a tip for anyone that wants to make a few quid. Check the weather forcast before each race. If it looks like a wet race put a bet on him winning. You will get odds of 150:1.

I think coming from DTM has been an advantage, it's incredibly difficult to win in that category, so it's really taught him some excellent racecraft.
I think it's amazing he can beat Sutil so early on, and it proves how fast this young Scot is! Now he needs a faster car i think.
