"that would simply be too dangerous" -- typical no balls approach/talk of today's drivers. And it isn't their fault, that's what they were raised on. So then, why do they bitch about the boring tracks that resulted from such safety, and wish they could compete against older generation drivers, some of whom put it all on the line each race -- same reason: they're kids with lack of perspective. I don't think today's drivers should mention safety -- makes 'em look like wimps. Nobody's dying in F1 anymore FFS, even with idiot danger created by guys like Schumi. I know the current guys are not really wimps, and if safety stuff was taken away, they'd still be out there, and growing a pair.

Nutball - Kimi once said: F1 is to safe. That said, you still can find few "kids" as you put it with a sizable pair. Just look at Kubica, I really believe that the chap would not hesitate to race an F1 car from the early 80s.

Nico's right and not really saying anything that LH & FA have not said already. The driver's cannot race flat-out, the tyres give up before the car or driver does. Saying that, races have been exciting but this is due to tyre management rather than hard core racing.

The DRS has been one of the most brilliant ideas ever in the history of F1, Pirelli tyres are making the competition more exciting, F1 has done a brilliant job, the racing have been stunning, there is overtaking left right and centre, the people in charge have made the sports more exciting and awesome it is really cool, it's the tyres and the rear wing.
The above by Nico Rosberg son of Keke on bettor com one week ago.

Nico's right....im a huge fan of f1 but over ther year's i think its become very arftificial...you cant go out there an race anymore.....testing needs to come back i think..that played a huge part in racing...that showed what teams are hero's an who's zero's.....the regulations of 2007/2008 i think were the best..these days you have to tamper wiv tyre degredation to liven it up..is that really the way forward??...and getting rid of refuelling to was a failure in my eyes, that could decide the outcome of a race...
