F1 » Rosberg: Schumacher's results don't reflect his form

As Michael Schumacher insists he is 'fighting' hard to return to the front of the F1 field with Mercedes Grand Prix, team-mate Nico Rosberg argues the German legend is 'closer than last year' and performing 'at a high level' in 2011

Mercedes has been improved a lot at last race but isn't enough to get the podium considering the pace of Red Bull and McLaren and maybe Ferrari will have a good weekend for the first time this season. As for Schumacher,he was faster thab Rosberg last year in Istanbul park,so this should be a challenge for him(Rosberg) and the Ferrari duo and who knows "he may put some troubles even to the Bulls or McLarens, maybe".

well michael blew him away in malaysia.

lets not forget michael had issues in qualy of both malaysia and china. his race pace has been close to rosberg.

he drove very well in china battling with fernando all race long. which considering he started 14th is quite a recovery.

i think a good result is on the cards. Rosberg is driving well tho.

Once the car is "right" there will be no competition.Of course Schumacher is superior,91 wins against a record of "O" wins!
No f1 fan needs to be a rocket scientist to work that one out.

'he's closer than last year'. Close, this is F1, not
Horse Shoes. My poisoned keyboard will remain
silent until Monaco. Close carries no weight only
a podium finish will be honored. Rosberg is the
measuring stick, time will tell.

The pair of them know that if that car was just a little bit better then they would be on the podium and maybe even winning races, come on Ross you can do this again just like you did with Ferrari and the Brawn.

Would you perchance happen to be the infamous... Duke De La Plonker? :-)

Poor Nico, even when he's being gracious - above and beyond the call of duty ...the Scumacher here still try to deride and ridicule him. I think that says all we need to know about M.Schumacher fans actually! Pitiful!
