BuckBundy: I dont really think Maldonado is a bad driver, nobody wins 6 races in a row and ends up winning the title if he wasnt talented. I have to remind people that being a successful driver in other category doesnt mean anything for F1 and examples are plenty. On the other hand, examples like Kobayashi who wasnt a brilliant driver before F1 is amazing everybody. Even drivers who scored less than Maldonado in previous years had made it to F1. Like Petrov and Koba. I will let Maldonado show what he has, but I dont expect much from him since his car can barely take him to the finish line. =(

Dean Dean,if Montoya wants to win F1 races again then he will come back to F1,look what he done at Watkins Glenn last year that is the nearest you can get to an F1 track in Nascar so it is obvious where his true talent lies, and its being wasted in Nascar.

@not so new - Montoya's first oval win in Nascar has to be coming soon. He has been right there a number of times this season. I have never heard him say that he misses F1. I know that he was enjoying traveling to all of the races in his motorhome with his family. I am not sure if he is still doing that but he seems quite happy in Nascar.

If on the odd chance that he got the opportunity to go to Ferrari or RBR then who knows. There is no way that he would come back to a mid field team like Williams.

Mark, maybe he could replace Webber or even Massa next year,i just think it is a real shame that he is not in F1 anymore because i really do think that he could still win F1 races because he is a true racer.

So F1 is just like politics - one moment you resign in disgrace, the next you pop up in another top job. All the signs are that Williams are on the slide and I suppose this is just a last roll of the dice.

Michael is being made a scapegoat??? Well boo bloody hoo. He's been pretty good at making scapegoats out of drivers for a long time. I don't know that Coughlan is the right choice but Michael's no loss.

Williams have been dining out on past glories for way too long now. Not saying that Williams and FW have not provided a great deal to the sport, however it appears that perhaps a change at the top end of the order is what is needed? FW ultimately drives the team and needs to take responsibility for it's demise, much as he has done with it's success. It just seems too stuffy and old school. Look at Red Bull, they promote a very different culture and it appears that the right people want o work there. No doubt there are obvious financial advantages but it appears that Williams is a bit of a miserable and drab place to be. The only way is backwards at this point in time.. Someone mentioned Flav returning? He's the sort of character the team needs, love him or hate him, he would get the job done and change the culture of the team.
