I sometimes had KERS on, sometimes off. It was not an easy race. McLaren gave us a hard time. It was quite a big release when you cross the finish line. I am very happy. It was a great result. It is another confirmation that we are very strong,” added the race winner

This on autosport dot come. NEED MORE???

RobO - I thought you never believed anything that came out of the Red Bunk garage. Again, James Allen, wrote two pieces this after and in both of them he maintains Sabina had no KERS. Info coming out of the Red Bull crew is sometimes missleading on purpose, and keep in mind that James is enbeded, plus has access to many things that we don't. I watched the race from my dvr and I still can't come to any conclusive proof that he was using KERS to defend against lala.

Fiddy, these are quotes from vettel in the press conference. Please put down the bottle. These are Vettel's words. Not anyone else. 3 sites carrying the quotes. and that's all i cared to look at.

@ 50 cent 1) Watch a replay of the race.

2) Watch when Vettel's dash info is displayed.

3) Watch for when the little battery emblem is fully red and then gets a yellow highlight and the red drains away (this is KERS being used). You could see this clearly in the later stage of the race when he was defending, and commentators were talking about KERS allowance being reset every lap.

4) Try listening to what the driver in question says at the end of the race.

5) Drink, smoke or snort less of whatever it was that made you miss this watching the race the first time. If you like conspiracy theories so much, go hire a box set of the X-Files.

50 Cent-

A very SMALL amount of research will lead you to the truth of the matter- Allen is wrong.

Feel free to continue to try and convince the world that Vettel had no KERS throughout the race if you wish, but it is simply wrong.

I doubt if Allen will be able to convince Vettel either.

Countless pit stops, only four cars on the lead lap, ferrari runs at the front but gets lapped. More dull, confusing, artifical non-racing from F1. Next year we get 4 cyl engines, I can hardly wait.

Did anyone notice how Kamui Kobayashi did an ultra long stint on hardcompounds, and go back into the points after having to do a lap on a blown tire on the start?

He was behind the HRT (Last car) after lap 2 by 20sec) and managed to get back... that's nutts.
