no pitstop, it's very likely him and the other 3 will be punished - the only problem is they can't (or won't) place any time penalties for this race because they won't affect the final order. I expect the punishment to be something like a 5 place drop on the grid in Monaco - a cruel punishment since no one ever passes on those streets.

so whats the point to the yellow flags? you cant put in your fastest lap on a yellow lap. sorry this doesnt set a good president, so all the teams can now just blast past without taking due care.

on a side note just how many times does mclaren need to get a reprimand before they actually have any sort of action taken against them??

Who cares if they were penalised or not? In this case, it would have done absolutely nothing to the results. Hamilton, Button and Webber were 3 of the 4 guys to finish on the lead lap and the fourth won the race! Jaime didn't finish in the points either so would not have made a difference. However, it would have been harsh giving penalties to people not slowing down in a zone where they weren't even on the throttle anyway.

Langeralonso,Mclaren have been penalised probably more times than any other team in the past(unlike Ferrari who always get away with it),i think this is the first time ever Lewis has gone to the stewards and actually not been penalised.

yellow flag rules are there to be obeyed of course but did everyone watch the qualifying? Vettel made his fastest lap time in Q3 returned to the pits and his tyres were changed. He did not run again. Were his tyres changed back again so he started on the tyres he set his grid lap on? also JB was penalised a couple of races back for going outside the track limits ie: over the wite lines with both wheels. How come the Red Bulls were both driving beyond the lines especially when chasing Alonso in the early laps. Most everybody else was either inside or two wheels over the line not all four!

So Hamilton can just ignore all the safety rules then? Speeding through waved yellows and passing the safety car (last year). What's left?

lewis not punished? are you having a laugh?? sorry but to my mind hes the only driver ever to be craind lifted back on track. weave down the road blocking petrov but called it breaking the tow. get out the car and push it just to save the tiny bit of feul for a quali sample. im not saying anyone is a saint but how many warnings do teams get till it goes further?
