I wouldn't imagine Rubens has many options anyway unless he wants to head further back in the pack. And honestly unless he has a lot of financial backing those teams won't want him either since they seem to be wanting drivers who can bring a lot of money to the table.

When it comes down to it, very few drivers are ready for it when they leave F1. In recent history, I can only think of MS, and then he didn't really want to go.

Always liked Rubens but he doesn't seem at ease this year, maybe frustration as he knows it's his last year, shades of DC's last year actually.

Hope he bows out on top of his game rather than joining a poor B team to 'build them up' (Truli springs to mind) although Williams aren't that far off on this seasons....slightly tongue in cheek I know.

Actually Williams is showing Rubens the door.

His "problems" in qualy weren´t there by chance, suddenly Maldonado gets Q3 and Rubens can´t even try. The race was wrong in terms of strategy again.

He has spoken too much recently about the team´s dynamics. Hes seatwas sold out months ago to some Renault driver: Bruno Senna. Along with French Engines for 2012.

Guess who got the second fastest race lap...and who spend most time on the pits (1:32.449) yesterday...

Poor Rubinho!!!

Too much talking when the team is on crisis....equals to vacant seat. If Rubens wants to stay, he will have to rise the game in big stile.

Rubbish...
It's all down to $$$
Williams needs a driver like RB to develop the car. He did a fantastic job last year and out qualified NH in almost every race.
What Williams has to do is give him a half decent car to drive and he'll do the rest.
But since Williams does need the $$ since their going public effort was a fiasco so far, then I can see them not supporting RB and thus resulting in not so good results and giving them (Williams) the motive to can him. Sad actually for both Williams and RB.
Would be great to see Williams on top again, but will be difficult having paying drivers as their finacial resource.
Just my opinion, not trying to start a discussion here...
