After taking the chequered flag just 11th in Spain as team-mate Nick Heidfeld stormed from the back of the grid to eighth place, Vitaly Petrov has claimed: 'Qualifying has little meaning now.

Has he now changed his tune?? We just had a topic of how Vitally thought qualifying was no longer needed and now he says it's vital. Whew...

I said he reminds me of, in many ways, of lala. I'm not saying that he is a driver lala's caliber, but he sure does changes his mind as frequently as lala.

Rob - have you not seen Lulus latest ridiculous claim?

Supposedly he was blocked by a driver getting lapped whilst chasing Vettel, yet it has taken him 2 days to remember! Surely if he was blocked in the race then he would have raised it in the post race interview. Apparently, Lulu isn't going to speak to the driver concerned as he feels there is no point. In reality, he is digging for an excuse for not being able to get past Vettel, despite having his KERS every lap, DRS and fresher tyres.

And? Lulu is seeing things. As I said, if it was a big issue that cost him a race win then why not bring it up sooner and push for a penalty? It is just an excuse.

Rob - just read another report on the reputed block and the driver in question being a friend of Vettel. A McLaren spokemans is stated as saying "There is no conspiracy."

Kind of blows Lulus claim out the water!
