Back in March Jose Ramon Carabante vowed that HRT would be beating Virgin and Team Lotus by the Spanish GP. Well here we are gearing up for Monaco, Barcelona has been and gone, and HRT are last in the constructors championship.

The only reason they were able to beat D'Ambrosio is because he had an hydraulic problem with his car and Virgin had to replace an o-ring during qualifying!

F1 has always had slow cars, if the top drivers aren't good enough to get past the backmarkers then that's their own problem.

This second tier argument is tiresome now, if the newbies weren't in then we could see Williams propping up the grid. Would they then be deemed unworthy?

Even 4th place is last and therefore the slowest! Leave HRT alone people, they are already at the bottom and fighting hard, pick on someone like Ferrari and Mercedes who have the budgets but aren'
