Yet more posturing from one side!

I have always believed & probably always will, that the way to get a decent full grid is the old fashioned way
As in the organisers pay start money to the competitors that qualify for the grid as well as prize money to point scorers

But in the world of sport ruined by sponsorship money that's not going to happen

Read the article on pitpass dot com. Bernie knows the teams are not going to do anything in the way of a different race series. He has basically JUST said to the teams. Put up or shut up. And said they are not getting another dime.

Bernie has a valid point to be fair. In many other sports this is normal practice and lets face it, some teams are making huge money from F1 via sponsors so entry fees or a championship entry fee isn't so far fetched. obviously this is just scare tactics from him though so its not going to happen in reality.

I will wait on a Luca response. Luca is not to talk about a breakaway or be heavily fined. But it's ok for Bernie to mention one. This is going to get good. He said not even one more percent as that would give the teams 51percent. Teams looking for upwards of seventy percent and he says NO to one percent. Poker face??

Just what will that greedy little money grasping ARMPIT think of next. If faced with this stupid and punitive potential action I would strongly advise the constructors to tell the poison dwarf to stuff the concorde ageement where the sun don't shine and form a seperate breakaway group and then see what the demented fool comes up with next. How could he possibly run F1 without competitive teams for who would want to see a bunch of second string drivers racing inferior machines

The thing with holding a gun to someone's head ... you need to be prepared to pull the trigger if they call your bluff ... & then accept the consequences.

The more you push the teams into a corner, the more likely a breakaway becomes.
