Totally unfortunate driver accident, and great news there were no terminal injuries. However this race is over. The one challenger to a possible pole ran out of time. Best option for LH is to try to gain a few positions on pit stops. The season is still early and continual chasis development will work in McLaren's favor. Besides Vettel cannot continue to have so much good fortune. On to Canada!

Please do not overlook the entirely creditable 2nd spot for Button. There is always a chance in F1 and at least he has one. I can see Webber following through behind Vettal as he is on the clean side but if he gets a better start than Vettel he will be away!! Terribly bad luck for Hamilton and lets all hope Perez is 100%.

Bad crash. So This is racing on the edge. 30 years ago my boss told me that if you haven't fallen off your motorcycle then you are not going as fast as you can.

because of perez bad crash, only the top three places could be classed as representative. others were out on laps when the reds came out. i am sure that lulu would have been higher, and schumi would have dropped a couple of places, as his car appeared to be dire. anyway, lets hope for an accident free race tomorrow.
