F1 » Lewis Hamilton: Maybe it's because I'm black...

An angry Lewis Hamilton was in no mood for pulling punches after what he described as a 'shambles' of a 2011 Monaco Grand Prix, during which he claimed some of his rivals were 'frickin' ridiculous' and the treatment he received 'an absolute joke'

i really do think poor lewis does get attacked at every oportunity not just this year but every year im not saying he never makes mistakes hes human but i do think the FIA give him a hard time.

not a good race result today but he is the most amazing driver, and will bounce back vettels reign cant continue for long!!

hamilton will be up there with the best of them love F1 it would be boring without the overtaking and having drivers like lewis who occassionally take risks and overtake where it is apparently impossible... go lewis :-)

This is so typical of any african/european/american to want to bring their colour into the front of things when something goes wrong.

In this case, I am suprised when there are somany rules that all drivers have to abibe to, and the colour of the skin is brought into the argument.

Profesionlism should have no colour boundry, and Lewis was offered the top of the ranks to drive in F1. Can he no-longer take the hard work and stresses involved to be the top competitor.

Hamilton probably sed too much there but the man must be hugely Frustraited having a fast car on a trak were yuu can hardly overtake he was taking his chances up the inside and he didn't really pull em off but least he has the balls to giv a go than rather wait for the driver infront to make a mistake its what racing is all about dunt understand why people pipe up so much against him if yuu don't like him fair enough but sum of these comments are school kidd comments.. I hope hamilton gets pole at canada in 2weeks shut his haters up!!! C'mon mclaren unlucky for jenson today he could have done better!

He's actually bang on, he tries to race and put moves on people rather than just passing when there is a huge hole that even Jake Humphries can pass into.

He was well up the inside of Maldonado and had done him on the brakes. When someone is alread alongside, turning in is stupid. Even if its only half a car length the guy is still up the inside. Against Massa it was 50/50 blame but Massa DID turn in earlier than he had done.

Hamilton is easily quicker than Vettel in the same car. It's just unfortunate that the F1 powers want it to be a sanitised, safe race with overtaking only on the straights and that doesnt suit him as he is just an out and out racer.

Mark my words he will snap in public soon. And he will blame his behavior on his girlfriend when it happens. Champions don't make moves like this and then spew the bile he has to the press. He single handedly destroyed at least 4 other cars today. How can you chalk that up to racecraft? FIA needs to sanction this lad and soon.

i agree with LH on the PM-penalty being a joke, it should've been a dq, since he already had a drive through, and he stole PM and, more importantly, Williams' points, while LH's penalty has no effect whatsoever. where's the justice in tha?

Flipping hell people! He didn't mean what he said. He knows it has nothing to do with his ethnic origin. Its called sarcasm... He clearly didn't want to speak and he clearly couldn't give a justifiable explanation to her question because he simply didn't no.

He raced will!
