F1 » Lewis Hamilton: Maybe it's because I'm black...

An angry Lewis Hamilton was in no mood for pulling punches after what he described as a 'shambles' of a 2011 Monaco Grand Prix, during which he claimed some of his rivals were 'frickin' ridiculous' and the treatment he received 'an absolute joke'

If he wants to play the race card, it will be to his detriment... it has nothing to do with colour, he is just an arrogant bullshi** who thinks he is the "dogs" and after his commenst about his team after qualifing... if I were Martin Whitmarsh the LH would de heading down to the Job centre real soon

I totally agree with Lewis comments and his definately the best driver in f1 @ the moment, every time he drives well and makes a good move on track, chances are that he will be penalised

To the people complaining that Lewis isn't being allowed to race:

You do understand the need for rules and regulations in order for the sport to function don't you? Otherwise everyone would be "putting one up the inside" and not being too concerned with losing a wing or crashing out. If you make a mistake you accept responsibility for it, and seeing as how Lewis made that comment immediately after speaking to the stewards and presumably after seeing replays does he even admit any fault?( and I don't buy the sarcasm argument , I was watching it live on the f1 forum on BBC when he made the comments and his body language and general attitude betrayed his obvious belief in his comments, otherwise why say them?) I doubt it , he just took the cowards way out and looked to blame all and sundry. It seems he gets very jealous when Jenson out performs him.

Lewis...I totally agree, at least as far as Monaco is concerned. If drivers do not attempt to overtake then what do we have? A precession on the track and any overtaking relying on pit stops and strategy.
If overtaking or at the very least an attempt at overtaking is ultimately going to result in penalties then we may as well set Vettel off on his own for 78 laps and give everyone else points as they qualify.

PLEASE PLEASE don't let this turn into a racial argument: Lewis was merely trying to end his rant with a bit of humour... he is entitled to his opinion and, admit, we love to hear the drivers' emotional outbursts. He specifically related it to Ali G, and NO-ONE can detract from Sacha Baron Cohen's universal debunking of every sort of bigotry. Surely we have come far enough to be able to accept a wry comment for what it was. Lewis is a phenomenon, a great role model, a superb athlete, and usually in total control. Let it go...... he has earned a few bonus points.

First penalty was fair, second one certainly wasn't. Pastor should take some of the blame. Oh, and Lewis returned to the stewards some time after, to apologize for his comments. Say what you will, but he's a real racer.
