Apparently, he's apologised to the stewards. Something like 'I was upset, I drove my heart out...' What? And nobody else was driving their heart out? Spoiled, arrogant, self-centered...

@ A4120etc -

Great drivers respect all their fellow drivers. What Hamilton (and anyone else) needs to ask themselves is "If I were the other driver, would I move over to let me through?" If the answer is no, he should hang back. Why should he expect everyone to move over for him all the time?

There are a lot of drivers in F1 who can drive fast, but precious few "racers". They have got used to passing happening through pit stops and not on the track. When Lewis passed Schumi, he attempted to move over on the McLaren, but when realising that Lewis was not going to back off, he gave him room. Massa on the other hand could see Lewis inside him, but held his line, knowing that they would hit each other, and paid the price by damaging his rear suspension and crashing out. Far better to finish and gain points rather than crash out and whinge and blame it on the other driver.
Going back to the 80s and early 90s if a driver saw Senna in his mirrors he KNEW that he would try to pass and would give him room (except Prost) Lets have some more racers in F1 who have got the balls to go for it!

exactly the coverage required for interest in F1 to prosper. long live the true racers....lol. hope Ham doesn't start getting really desperate. his talent needs to be controlled, he will mature in time but by then he may not be so edge of the seat exciting to watch......! Really loved the GP today shame all the world champions couldn't have been dueling at he end...... Roll on Canada.....:) Methinks Ham in a Red Arrow soon?

Not a bad weekend considering he crashed out two competitors..... McLaren builds strong cars. You are so lucky. And then too complain like you did. Whiny little biatch.

Where have I ever stated that Jenson is my "hero"? Actually I support no driver particularly, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, good days and bad days. And of course I like to see racing, but I want to see clean skilful racing not a demolition derby. I do agree that the tracks, particularly Monaco, are not always helpful in this respect, but motor racing badly needs to get back to being a non-contact sport.
