Credit where credit is due. This was obviously a joke said in frustration, and clearly not a serious claim at racism by the stewards. If he does have something to apologise for, it's running Maldonado into the wall at turn one when the Williams driver was set for an excellent 6th spot. I haven't heard any apology for that yet, just some statement about other drivers' standards being 'frickin' ridiculous'.

Hamilton's a great driver, but he does push it too far sometimes and needs to realise that sometimes it really is his fault.

In advance.. for all those who are about to continue slagging Lewis off - it's says a lot more about your character than his.

Everyone has said something in the heat of the moment they've regretted later on. No exceptions. We're all humans.

He lives and breathes racing.. and hates losing. Simple as that. These characteristics are the same one's which have propelled him to the top of the sport.. and no one can argue Formula 1 is better without him.

Wow. So it's OK to make race jokes now? Or only if you are black? I am confused. What does race have to do with motor racing? The topic disgusts me and now so does Lewis.

Mclaren will have made sure he went back to the stewards

Whilst he does say some stupid things and quite often what he says it wrong and/or out or order.....

EVERYTHING he says is twisted into stupid headlines, more so than any other sportsman I can think of.

So you can say everything, and then just apologize? So Lewis, try to use your brain next time you want to put someone out of the race of his life. Maldonado is maybe stupid because he didn't open the door to your Majesty, but he lose a great result too in the process. If I'm too harsh, please, accept my apoligizes.

Backtracking to smooth things over, kinda like Liegate. The facts are he bumped Schumacher out of the way, ran Massa off the road, punted Maldonado and started the chain reaction that almost killed Petrov. I also noticed in fotage after Massa slid down the guardrail and he passed him, at the next turn Hamilton cut across the chicane. No penalty for that. I guess the stewards had their hands full with the "serious" infractions. By running people off the road and causing accidents he was able to get well into the points. He should be stripped of these points and disqualified for the most dangerous driving I've seen in a Formula One race.
