F1 » Hamilton could yet face FIA wrath

Despite apologising to the Monaco race stewards, Lewis Hamilton may not escape punishment from F1's governing body for his post-race outburst.

Well why wouldn't they want to install more punishment, there's an opportunity to do it and there's also an opportunity to let it go, after all the jibe was tongue in cheek, the whole world saw it as that apart from the media distortionists, but some folk wish to make more of this statement that for what it was meant to be taken.

Let it go FIA, I want to see Hamilton racing as without him your championship would be so much duller than it is right now. There will be a time when he will lost to F1 and he'll race elsewhere.

I am McLaren for ever..... but when anybody in any sport plays the race card, then they need a slap.
what Hamilton said is inexcusable and needs to be addressed ASAP.I,for one will never cheer for this child again. He needs a heavy ban because a fine will mean nothing to him.I will now spend my hard earned cash on Button shirts.
Cheers Lewis,you halfwitted ****.

Robert Kubica is a honest speaker always and I don't remember him doing it in Hamilton's way so it looks like he don't need to show a tough guy literally. Theese days a lot of people mistake being tough with overconfidence.

This has been SO blown out of proportion! Lewis was not 'playing the race card', it was clear tongue and cheek and meant to be a joke. People need to lighten up!

I do feel however that Lewis believes the world is against him and needs to work on his attitude. This weekend he blamed his team, his competitors and the stewards...but never himself. I think that this is something he needs to work on as it does nothing for his public image or racing. That is what concerns me, not the race joke that everyone seems to be making the big fuss about!

Yes Lewis you are in front of the stewards a lot, but that's because you go for gaps that others don't see. That's what makes you a good racer/overtaker, but you have to accept that if the other driver doesn't give way then you might get a penalty. Some you win, some you lose...

...my 2 cents worth.

Who is racist here? A common trait with racists is to use racism as a tool to get their own way when they are wrong. He would be better to keep his mouth shut and let his driving ability do the talking.

Agree with the likes of Massa too.
Lewis 'Nascar' Hamilton cried the whole way through claiming drivers just turned in on him! Then claims that there's something wrong with these freakin drivers! He's the perfect image for Narcissism!

oh - we're not even talking about his spaz racist joke!
