Good news indeed.

The crash took me straight back to 1994 and Karl Wendlinger at the same corner. Perez's crash was virtually a carbon copy of Wendlingers.

The barriers there are so much better than in 1994 - I think it was two rows of tyres in front of the armco.

How does a tecpro barrier fare in a head on collision? We know how tyres can react from accidents like Schumacher's in Silverstone and Burti in a Ligier/Prost at Spa with something similar.
