F1 » Hamilton: I will never stop racing the way I do

He might have apologised to the FIA, his rivals and his fans for his extraordinary post-Monaco Grand Prix outburst, but McLaren-Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton insists he will walk away from F1 before he changes his driving style

Own the circuit .. fastest and not in the fastest car..
Oh great the ego just gets bigger. Not sure the McLaren is all that slow either. It was a Lucky Vettel whom fluked the win. Hamilton tactics and mouth were disgraceful in Mono. Button go to another team .. get away from this vermin.

"Lewis Hamilton insists he will walk away from F1 before he changes his driving style."

Or be taken away in an ambulance. It's only a matter of time before he causes a massive accident. I respect his racing style and the fact he never gives up, but he's far too aggressive for his own good at the moment.

Man, am I glad to hear that!!

Hamilton is without a doubt the best driver out there! He's the fastest, most overtaking - and by far the most entertaining guy on the circuit!

He is a winner to the bone - and expects to win every single time! That's what is making him so good to watch - and stand out from the rest of the drivers - and from all the Crash think-you-know-it-all couch pilots who just sit back with all your broken dreams because you didn't have the guts to make them happen! Lot easier to just bad mouth people who did! Exactly the same kind of small people who were bashing Senna and Schumacher in those days - and yes, Hamilton is made of that same precious stuff! Who gives a rat's a.. what he says - I watch the race on tv or at the circuits to see the... RACE!!

I am not saying he shouldn't be punished for dangerous mistakes - but all I saw in Monaco were bold overtakings that really were just racing incidents and should have been treated as such by the stewards.

Never really been a Hamilton fan as his off track attitude is sh*t, he always does this, he actually races in a Grand Prix as opposed to pilot a car around a circuit, and I warm to him in the race as he is a racer, I enjoy watching him push the car and people around him to the limits, like racing should be.
Then he gets out of the car and is a complete ****hole who is so far up himself it is unreal and I lose all time for him, even Fernando is getting less of a moaner than Lewis.

Racing is all about the win and Hamilton with all of his faults, is the only F1 driver that really understands this. I for one am now becoming a supporter of his. The stewards are killing racing with their pathetic drive through penalties every time that someone makes a daring, if somewhat risky, move.

The driving (though marginal at times), can be excused because at the end of the day, that is what the 'sport' is about. Apologies though would be better face to face, putting the Apologies on Twitter is as ridiculous as the post race comments were, he may as well have posted them on crash net or facebook. RD wont be impressed at all, and quite rightly!

Lewis, as long as you continue your current tactics in F1, it would be as if in boxing you'd have no rules to follow, but your opponent follows the Marquis of Queensberry rules. How deadly would F1 be if every racer through safety to the wind? Hamilton really belong in NASCAR where his tactics are the expected and the norm. Go to NASCAR Lewis and see if you win there.

Lewis (sincerely as I've always written Lulu),
Nobody asked you to stop racing the way you did. The only thing you need to do is admit fault when you are at fault.
Thanks.

Anyone who thinks he is good needs to quit being so retarded... formula one is about winning and this he does not do... he crashes out more than he gets podiums... if he wants to win try playing by the rules and use them to youre. Advantage.... it be nice if he could make a set of tyres last... he needs to grow up and race the race quit racing as if every lap was the last lap....its not a video game...he may learn that the hard way someday...great driver in Jenson button needs to go to a better team to get away from the hamilton drama... Lewis belongs in Nascar...that's his style...

pjerrot. lulus moves were desperation, NOT skill. This latest comment from him seems to be a warning to his rivals "dont get in my way". he would have been better served to admit his shortcomings and then keep out of the limelight for a while.
