Ferrari openly support alonso the same way mclaren (used to?) covertly support lewis, i feel i have to add that alonso had very little support when he wore lewis down during the one season they spent as team mates.

Alonso's sheer determination and will to win has to make him the biggest threat in equal equipment. Seb has really impressed this year but if Alonso or even Lewis were in a dominant car like the Red Bull then I think that they would be unbeatable.

This is interesting because i don't know if Lewis is trying to give Whitmarsh a hint here about having the whole team supporting him,but i agree with the drivers he has said except for Rosberg who has still yet to convince me.

blzbub,Alonso had plenty of support from Mclaren especially in the first half of the year, and if Ron had really wanted Alonso to lose the title in 07 then surley he would of made sure that Fernando somehow did'nt finish that last race,in fact it was Lewis who ended up having the problem.Mclaren are always fair to their 2 drivers, they have been since the 2006 season anyway.

Pitstop the first yard stick every driver is judged
by is how he measures up against his team mate. Nico's
teammate is a 7 times WDC, really a formidable, adversary. I suggests that you take a close look at Rosberg's record..Surprise..

ssb, man this is a F1 forum..About RACING not political slurs ..Try bottled drinking water
its safer..

jose,Nico has been racing since 2006 and he has still not won 1 F1 race yet,i know he nearly always out qualifies Michael but when it comes to the actual race Schumie has all the experience and then quite often beats him, maybe when he has finally won a race i will then be convinced.
