No it would not. Mosley stirring trouble yet again! Why anyone asks his opinion is beyond me.

It would be excellent PR for Bahrain to show that they have gotten past their troubles from earlier on the year.

I owuld much rather hear from someone who is loacal to the area rather than this bitter twisted old menace.

Andrew yes it would be excellent PR for Bahrain
However it would be bad for F1 and all connected to it
Max has even said what I have been saying, that sponsors will not want to be associated with it
And rightly so

The world cup went to S.Africa so why can't F1 go to Bahrain?

Besides who asked for your opinion? Bring on Bahrain as we the fans want to see more racing.

andrew. i fully agree. i wonder what mad max thinks of india, where the liveliehood of locals is being destroyed by the building of the new track, and there is serious local unrest. or brazil, where he and others are a risk of kidnap etc etc

RD350LC - Look at all the countries where F1 races are held. All of them have done despicable things in the past, and some are continuing to do so and are extremely dishonest about what they are doing and hide the truth behind quite noble reasons.

As for the sponsors - seriously? They don't care. There is no such thing as bad publicity. They would probably be quite hapy to go to Bahrain and be seen to be supporting the a country that has suffered in recent times.

Going by your reasoning the only ethical place to have a race is on the moon!

I am 100% behind Max Mosley on this one for both the image of F1 and also for the Bahraini people. It must be remembered that the Bahrain GP is a pet rpoject of the Bahrain Royal Family. There is nothing wrong in this but with discontent amoungst the populace it would give the impression that F1 backs the status quo in bahrain that fueled the discontent there. It will be better for both parties to cancel this years GP and return to bahrain next season
