rd350. a team is allowed to miss 3 races before a financial penalty is applied. however as the division of money is part of the concorde agreement and the amounts depend on the team's position in the wcc, do you honestly believe that any of the top teams would opt not to go? fat chance!

This is a shame! The ones who really work will have less than a month to rest, while Bernie will be sitting comfortably in his hotel room.

richard,Yes I do believe that some teams may choose not to go more than likely due to pressure from sponsors who do not want to be associated with the recent brutality there
As opposed to doing it for moral reasons

Disgraceful! The circuit's an abomination anyway, without even getting into the politics. It was the dullest race of the decade when they trundled round it last year. Someone with influence over the direction of F1 needs to get a reality check on what's truly important to the sport. Build another Spa in the desert and you've got something worth arguing about - until then, any country with a Tilkedrome has to justify its position on the calendar, at least by presenting a safe and secure environment for teams aand spectators. Bahrain's demise as a round of the F1WC wouldn't matter a jot to any true fan, and the place would be forgotten completely within a year.

Not going to happen, the good people will see to that
even if the present thugs are out of the picture.
Another theater of the corp. F1 placing money above the health and welfare of the people of Bahrain.
Bernie its going something to see just what teams and sponsors will want to be seen on the grid..
40m, man that kind of money can buy a lot of butt.
Simply NUTS!!
