F1's governing body the FIA has released a provisional calendar for 2012 following today's reunion of its World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) - and it makes for the busiest season in history...

This calendar strikes me as having a bunch of tracks with no character, in nations with no notable motorsport pedigree.
It also looks like a logistical nightmare

I just don't get it. More and more GP's with all that goes with that. 747 cargo planes, Private jets.....this circus has the carbon footprint of some small countries and at the same time they want green engines. They have totally fliped out.
