Almost six out of ten people say the FIA got it right when it announced the decision to reschedule the Bahrain Grand Prix, according to our poll.

Based on the number of negative comments on this story it is obvious that the poll was flawed. Besides when I tried to see the results a second time I had to vote again. So obviously it was possible to vote multiple times.

Would such a response occur if the same people who voted yes could not freely express their opinions? It's easy to vote for a televised event from the safety of a country where you're unlikely to be subjected to arbitrary imprisonment and/or torture.

What you have to understand is that the majority of people that post on the internet are the vocal minority, the silent majority will watch the race (if it goes ahead), and the viewing figures will show this.

Even when there's a rule change the moaners come out and plague every forum they can find, usually stating they'll never watch F1 again, as if they really watched anyway.

No amount of facebook campaigns by F1 haters, will stop true F1 fans from watching.

I do agree with the poll, most of the international media is mislead by lots of false fabricated information what was planned for more than 10 years in which how they will explode the whole internet with bad news and show a dark image of Bahrain. because that lots of the real Bahrain people are trying their best to restore the bad image that these terrorist group have committed against them self's 1st and against our peaceful country

That this pole shows fans are supporting this decicion is a surprise to me. I just read that Britain continued to train Bahraini army officers at Sandhurst months after the Gulf state began its crackdown against demonstrators, it was disclosed yesterday. Five Bahraini officers were receiving tuition at the elite military academy in Surrey as recently as last month, a Freedom of Information request has revealed. Go ahead watch your race I just hope that when you'll cry for help there will be somebody with some conscience to help you out.

"The five most recent Bahraini trainees at Sandhurst have since returned home. They included Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman al-Khalifa, son of Bahrain's Crown Prince, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa."

Now I understand why...
