Damon Hill has announced that he is to give up the role of president at the BRDC from August's AGM.

A true gent just like his dad and he has done wonders for the sport in the UK. I wish him and his family all the best and am following his sons progress with as much passion as I followed Damon.

BUT Damon was the 1996 world champion, Jacques won it in 1997

Yes Hill has done excellent work for the old boys club, sorry I mean the BRDC by making sure that the old boys have somewhere warm and comfy to sit and watch the race, whilst the fans still in a pubble of mud.
