So the option was to do nothing or ban him from six races? After this and the whole Bahrain situation I am quickly losing all faith in Todt as the head of the FIA. While I do not think that he should have been banned perhaps a fine of a few thousand to the road safety program would have been more appropriate. Even NASCAR would have fined a driver $50k for such an outburst. Insulting the officials and coyly playing the race card should not be tolerated.

Thank goodness it is all over with now, don't expect Lewis to say much at all from now on,i can't believe Lewis could had been banned for 6 races,6!wow!what would Mclaren of done then if that had happend?,Kimi would of had to of come back.Come on Lewis just let your driving do the talking from now on.

Pitstop - I don't think that Lewis has the capability of holding his tongue for very long. Once he is in front of the stewards yet again this weekend let's see how he does.

Hopefully he won't do anything silly in qualifying like the how he shut his car off on the cool down lap last year. Also he will have to remember to watch for those red lights at pit exit if there is a safety car.

Mark, thats a good start in assuming that Lewis will definatly be paying yet another visit to the stewards room before the weekend has even started,Mark i don't think Lewis will ever make that mistake again regarding that pit exit.

totally wrong decision. they should have thrown the book at the spoilt brat and taught him a lesson. won't be the last temper tantrum from lulu.

yet again lulu gets away with it. sends out a very bad message - smash into your opponents, lie, cheat, insult other drivers and the act like a petulant child when you get caught.

i have lost faith in f1.

Imho he should have gotton more than a slap on the wrist. His driving during monaco was bullish at best, & then to criticise the organization he "works" for shows no class. I wish I could cal my boss an ahole & get away with it. I wouldn't be fined or suspended, I'd be looking for a new job.
